The time has come again for our usual yearly series of articles on forecasts. Our very first article will touch on this year's forecast basing on the season you were born in. After that, we will have another article basing on your Chinese Horoscope and the last article of this series will be on Feng Shui. You will be learning about the favorable and unfavorable sectors in your home for 2012.
Let's begin by determining which of the 5 groups you belong to. The first group of people are born between 4th February and 4th April, this group is considered the Spring people. Spring people have lots of Wood in their chart, as Spring is the season where Wood is at its strongest. Generally, Spring people favor Metal as Metal helps to weaken the excessive Wood in their charts.
The second group are the Summer people, born between 6th May and 6th July. Generally, Summer people have lots of Fire in their chart, which causes them to be driven, but hot-tempered at the same time. If you belong to this group, Water is your favorable element as it helps you dilute the strong Fire in your chart.
Thirdly, we have the Autumn people, born between 8th August to 7th October. The dominant element of Autumn is Metal, as a result, Autumn people favor Wood, which helps to balance the excessive Metal in their charts.
Group number four belongs to the Winter people, born between 8th November and 5th January of the following year. Water is unfavorable to Winter people as Winter is the season where Water is at its strongest. Therefore, Winter people get along best with Summer people because Fire and Water balance each other. In other words, you can also say that Winter people favor Fire.
Last but not least, we have the Earth people. Earth people are born during the four Earth months of each year, which are as follows, 6th January to 3rd February, 5th April to 5th May, 7th July to 7th August and lastly, 8th October to 7th November. Earth people have lots of Earth in their chart, their favorable elements are those which weaken Earth. Earth people have more favorable elements than the other four groups as there are three elements which weaken Earth.
Because of having more favorable elements, Earth people are usually more tolerant than those under the four groups. The three elements which Earth people favor are Wood, Metal and Water. Right now, you probably already know which are your favorable elements and which are the elements that you should avoid.
Let's move on by looking at the elements of year 2012. 2012 is the Water Dragon year, Dragon represents Earth. If Water and Earth are both your favorable elements, this will be your year to shine.
For Spring people, this will be an average year for you, as Water strengthens Wood, your unfavorable element. In order to improve your luck cycle, you need to increase the effect of the Fire element in your daily life. You may be wondering, why Fire instead of Metal?
As Water is present, more Metal will strengthen Water, which in turn strengthens Wood, your unfavorable element. Fire weakens Wood instead of strengthening it. Now, your next question might be, how to increase the effect of Fire?
Firstly, by using more Fire colors, which include Red, Orange and Purple. In terms of food, you should try to eat more spicy food, barbecue food, as well as take more chocolate and coffee. Spending more time driving and working in front of your computer also helps to increase the effect of the Fire element in your daily life.
I have good news for the Summer people. Both Water and Earth are favorable to you, as they weaken Fire. You should make use of this year to propel yourself to success. Any major projects or important decisions should be made and settled by this year.
As for the Autumn people, it will also be an average year for you. Although Water weakens Metal, Earth strengthens it. The result is strong Water, as Earth strengthens Metal which in turn strengthens Water. Since Water is strong, the presence of Wood will cause your luck cycle to turn for the better.
Now, how can you increase the effect of Wood in your daily life so that you can enhance your luck cycle for this year? The best way is to surround yourself with books or clothes. Books and clothes represent the Wood element. If you don't have many books or clothes, you might want to spend more time in the library or shopping for clothes.
In terms of color, you should try your best to use Green. Eating more Green leafy vegetables and green fruits will also help to increase the effect of Wood in your daily life. In terms of fruit, Kiwi works best.
Next, we come to the Winter people. Unfortunately, the Winter people are the most disadvantaged among all five groups. Because of the strong Water and lack of Fire, you might find yourself going through a very frustrating year. It is a must for you to enhance your luck cycle by increasing the effect of the Fire element in your daily life, which is especially true during the Winter months of 2012. Do remember to wear more Red, Orange and Purple, as well as eat more spicy food.
Last but not least, it will also be an average year for the Earth people as Water is favorable but Earth is not. Those born between 8th October to 7th November must look out for challenges relating to your parents. As you are born in Dog month, the year pillar, Dragon clashes directly with your month pillar. Whenever there is a clash with the month pillar, it signifies challenges relating to your parents.
For the Earth people born in the other 3 months, you should increase the effect of Wood in your daily life in order to enhance your luck cycle. Many Boyfriends, One Daughter But No Husband
Rachel was born on 3rd September 1971,between midnight to 0059. Her birth chart is as follows:
Year Pillar: Metal Pig (Water)
Month Pillar: Fire Monkey (Metal)
Day Pillar: Metal Rabbit (Wood)
Hour Pillar: Earth Rat (Water)
Rachel was born on a Metal day in a Metal month, her personal element is considered strong therefore her favorable elements are those which weaken Metal. In this case, Fire, Wood and Water are her favorable elements while Metal and Earth are unfavorable to her.
2009 was a double Earth year which was unfavorable to Rachel, she lost her job that year. "I Don't Mind Paying For Dates, But No Sex Until Marriage."
Stella came from a very staunch Catholic family. Her parents were very strict with her since young, especially during her teenage days. They forbade her to get into any relationship, but instead, made her focus on her studies. Only until her working days then they encouraged her to go on dates. Looking at Stella's chart, she was born on an Earth day in Winter. Her personal element, Earth is surrounded by Metal and Water, which makes her personal element, Earth very weak. In order for us to determine how her romance luck is like, there are 3 things we need to look at. Firstly, the presence of her Husband element and how strong is her Husband element in her chart. In Stella's case, her Husband element is Wood.
Next, we need to see whether there are any clashes in her House of Spouse, which is Sheep (Day Pillar). Lastly, we need to determine whether the element which destroys her Husband element is present, as well as how strong it is.
In Stella's case, her Husband element, Wood is hidden in the two Sheep (Day Pillar and Hour Pillar). The hidden Wood in the Sheep at the Day pillar is strengthened by the presence of Water (Rat) beside it. Next, there are no clashes with her House of Spouse.
Up till this point, everything seems to be going well. But...
The presence of the four Metal elements destroyed everything. There are two Metal elements from her Year Pillar, one from her Month Pillar and the last one from her Hour Pillar. The strong influence of Metal destroys the two hidden Wood elements. But you might ask, what if she encounters a Yang Wood year or Yin Wood year? Will that improve things for her?
Unfortunately not. Yang Wood combines with Yin Earth (Day Pillar) to form Earth, while Yin Wood combines with Yang Metal to form Metal. In this situation, there is nowhere for Wood, her Husband element to thrive. From here, we can conclude that she is really unlucky in the area of romance.
But you might ask, can't the Water (Rat) from her Month Pillar help to act as a middleman between the strong Metal and Hidden Wood? The answer is both yes and no. The Water (Rat) can only act as a middleman for the Metal element from Rooster (Year Pillar) but not for the other three Metal elements (Year Pillar, Month Pillar and Hour Pillar). The strength of the other three Metal elements is enough to destroy the two hidden Wood elements.
If the birth chart fails, let's look at Stella's luck pillars. Hopefully we can find something which can help her along.
2001-2010 Water Tiger (Wood) Pillar
2011-2020 Water Rabbit (Wood) Pillar
2021-2030 Wood Dragon (Earth) Pillar
Looking at the Water Tiger Pillar, Water strengthens Wood (Tiger), which is her Husband element. This time, the Water element can act as a middleman to weaken those three Metal elements in her chart. 2001-2010 looks promising to Stella in the area of romance. Are we able to tell which year does Stella stand the highest chance of meeting Mr Right?
Yes, 2004. 2004 is the Wood Monkey year. Monkey combines with Rat (Month Pillar) to form Water, which in turn strengthens Wood. But unfortunately, the Wood is Yang Wood, which combines with Yin Earth to form Earth. As a result, there is no Wood left. Stella's relationship in 2004 was just like the passing clouds, easy come, easy go.
How about 2005, Wood Rooster year? The Wood of 2005 is Yin Wood, Yin Wood combines with Yang Metal (Month Pillar) to form Metal. As a result, Wood is non-existent again. This means the relationship comes and goes like the previous year.
Now, let's look at the year where Wood is the strongest in her chart, which is 2007. 2007 is Fire Pig year, the Yin Fire combines with Yang Water (luck pillar) to form Wood, plus Pig and Sheep combines to form Wood. 2007 is the best year for romance for Stella. But sad to say, although Wood is strong, the two Water elements which acted as middlemen are no longer present, as they have combined to form Wood.
As a result, the Wood element is now open to attack by the four Metal elements in the chart. Everything goes back to square one.
In actual fact, 2007 was indeed the most romantic year for Stella. She did meet Mr Right and fell in love with him. They went out on dates, Stella was willing to pay for everything, except going to bed with Mr Right before marriage. During that same year, Mr Right got married, but not to Stella. Why not?
From the elements in her birth chart, we can deduce that the four Metal elements made her stand firmly by her principles. That may have made her a disciplined person, but the four Metal elements were also responsible for repelling Mr Right from her.
Since it is a war between Metal and Wood, Stella can increase the effect of the Water element in her daily life to stop the four Metal elements from destroying the two hidden Wood elements in her chart. Eating more sashimi and bean curd will help her in increasing the effect of Water element. Stella should wear more Black and Blue, as well as clothes with wavy patterns. Going for dates in the North area will also help her improve her romance luck.

She Has No Lack Of Suitors, But Is Her Marriage Luck Favorable?
Most of the time, we believe that attractive women have great marriages. They are able to choose the right man because after all, they have so many potential suitors. That may be true in a certain sense, but ultimately, luck and astrology still play a role. Take Amanda's case for example, she has been in the dating game since her teens. At a glance, all four romance stars are present in her chart. Let me explain, in Chinese Astrology, Rooster, Rabbit, Rat and Horse represent the four romance stars. Looking at her chart, all four romance stars are present. So what is happening? Why is she still single?
Let's start from her Husband element first. Since she was born on a Metal day, Fire represents her husband element. The presence and strength of the husband element determines whether a woman is likely to get married.
The effect of the husband element on the day element determines whether she will have a great marriage. If the husband element is strong but unfavorable, she will still get married, but her husband will give her problems. The best scenario is to have a strong husband element which is favorable to you. How Does The Combination Of Elements Affect You?
Initially, I planned to name this article "Where Did My Good Luck Go? ". But that sounded quite negative, as the information you are about to learn can go both ways. However, in the end, I hope that this will help you understand why a seemingly lucky period can be unlucky and vice versa.
Once you understand why, you will be able to more accurately determine how is your luck cycle like, and how to take steps to improve it. So let's begin. . .
A few weeks ago, a friend who just learnt some basic astrology came to me. He told me according to what he learnt, his favorable element was Fire, and that currently, he is going through a Fire period. The next 5 years was a Fire period for him according to his luck pillars. This means that his luck cycle should be good and things should be working out smoothly for him.
But. . .
It is the opposite. He is going through obstacle after obstacle. He got into trouble at his workplace because he was back stabbed. At home, he has problems with his wife. This period, he seems to be quarreling more with her.
I asked him for his date and hour of birth, so that I could determine what was the problem. He was born in December. It is true that his favorable element was Fire and Water was unfavorable to him. It is also correct to say that he is indeed going through a Fire period.
So what was the problem?
I soon found out why. It is true that he was going through a Fire period, but that Fire was represented by Snake. He was going through a Snake luck pillar. However, Snake can combine with Monkey to form Water. Indeed, there was Monkey in his 4 pillars, as well as Water in one of the Heavenly Stems. When this happens, the Snake becomes Water instead of Fire.
This explains why his luck cycle was down. His favorable element became his unfavorable element. This is a slightly more advanced stage of Chinese Astrology, where the elements can change. But in order for the elements to change, a condition must be met. If this condition is not met, then the elements will remain as they are and not change.
For my friend's case, if there was no Water in any of his Heavenly Stems, then his luck cycle will be very smooth, instead of what he is going through now. In the next section, I will list out for you which are the set of animals which can combine and form a different element, as well as the condition that is needed for the transformation.
With this information in hand, you will be able to have a better grasp of your luck cycle. Here goes. . .

How To Determine Whether A House Is Ruled By Men Or Women
Before I begin, this article might save hen-pecked men from continually being hen-pecked. It might also save women who are continually being controlled by their husbands. Whichever situation you are in, I hope that you will benefit from the knowledge of the ancient art of Feng Shui.
Feng Shui is actually divided into 2 parts. The first part is determined by the external factors, that is the surrounding areas of the house and the external structure of it. The second part is determined by the direction the house is facing. And from that direction, you are able to determine the flying star configuration of that house.
Once you get the flying star configuration, you will be able to determine which are the favorable and unfavorable sectors of the house. For example, you will be able to tell which sector of the house you should spend more time in, so that you can increase your wealth luck. Or on the other hand, which sector of the house you should avoid, so that you are able to avoid illnesses and misfortune.
In this article, you will only be looking at the first part of Feng Shui, that is the external factors. From the exterior of the house, you will determine within 2 seconds, whether the house is ruled by men or women.
Before I move into that, there are 4 celestial beasts in Feng Shui. They are called: The Green Dragon, The White Tiger, The Vermilion Bird and lastly, The Black Turtle. In Feng Shui, the positions of these 4 celestial beast must be in harmony in order for there to be good Feng Shui.
Their positions are as follows: The Green Dragon is on the Left, The White Tiger on the Right, The Vermilion Bird is at the Front while the Black Turtle is at the back. In order to have good Feng Shui, the Green Dragon position must be higher than the White Tiger position, while the Black Turtle position must be higher than the Vermilion Bird position.
To put it in simple terms, the left must be higher than the right, and the back must be higher than the front. To fulfill the criteria, usually, there is a mountain behind the house and a large open area in front of the house. The building on the left is always taller than those on the right. There is one place in Singapore that fulfills this. If you visit Singapore, take a look at the City Hall.
In front of the City Hall is the Padang, which is an open field. At the back is the new Supreme Court building. On its left is the old Supreme Court building while on the right is Coleman Street. Take a walk down there if you have the chance. You will understand what I mean.
Ok, time to move on to our main topic, which is how to determine whether a house or building is ruled by men or women. So how do we determine that? And what is the relationship between this and the 4 celestial beasts?

In this article,you will discover how is heart attack related to Chinese Astrology and how you can minimize the risks of getting it,if you belong to the high risk group of people.First of all,let me give you an introduction of how astrology is related to sickness.
In Chinese Astrology,each organ of our body represents one of the five elements,namely,Metal,Wood,Water,Fire and Earth.The reason why people fall sick is because of an imbalance of the elements.Each one of us is born with a different combination of elements.It is all shown in our 8 characters.A weak element usually means that the organ which this element represents is susceptible to sickness.

Travelling towards the East is also helpful in increasing the Wood element.If you stay in the Eastern part of your country or town,that is also considered increasing the effect of the Wood element.Last tip,hang around people who have a lot of Wood in their 8 characters.This means those born between 4th February and 4th April.

Besides the business and leadership principles that the author shared in her book, I discovered something about the relationship of between the founding date of a company with its owner and its success.
As you probably know, many companies start up and fail within the first 5 years. And as many entrepreneurs say, "I'll rather be lucky than smart." In this article, I am going to reveal to you some secrets about how you can create more luck for your business. Of course, that is not to say that you can just rest on your laurels and wait for luck to make everything happen. Hard work is still a must in business.
There are some people who work very hard, but still don't get what they want. These people are smart and hardworking, but somehow things just don't work out. I don't want you to be in that category.
